1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Order information: name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number, and the items in your order.
- Payment information: we do not store full card numbers. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor and we receive only a tokenized reference, the last four digits of the card, the card brand, the cardholder name, and the billing ZIP code.
- Support correspondence: the contents of any email, chat, or phone call you have with our customer service team.
- Marketing preferences: if you sign up for email updates, your email address and the date you subscribed.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and approximate location (city or region) derived from your IP address
- Pages you visit on our site, the referring URL, and timestamps of your visits
- Cookie identifiers and similar technologies used for analytics, session management, and fraud prevention
2. How we use this information
- Fulfill and ship your orders
- Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and delivery updates
- Provide customer support and process returns or warranty claims
- Send marketing emails when you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements
- Measure how visitors use our site so we can improve it
3. Service providers we share data with
We share personal information only with service providers that need it to operate our business, and with authorities when legally required. Categories include:
- Payment processor — to authorize and settle your payment
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
- Fulfillment partner — to pack and ship your order
- Email service provider — to send transactional email and, where you have opted in, marketing email
- Analytics provider — to understand site usage in aggregate
- Fraud-prevention services — to assess order risk
- Legal and government authorities — when required by law, subpoena, or court order
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. They fall into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — to keep your cart and session working. These cannot be turned off.
- Functional — to remember preferences, such as your shipping ZIP code.
- Analytics — to measure aggregate site usage. You can disable these in your browser settings or by using your operating system’s tracking-prevention controls.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, but California residents may still submit a request to confirm this
- Right to know (California residents) — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, or disclosed in the past twelve months
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of service for exercising your privacy rights
To exercise any of these rights, email support@hydroblast.com with the subject line “Privacy request.” We’ll respond within thirty (30) days. We may ask for a small amount of additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.
6. Data retention
We keep order and customer-service records for seven years to satisfy tax, accounting, and warranty obligations. Marketing email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time; we remove unsubscribed addresses from sending lists immediately and from our analytics records within twelve months.
7. Children’s privacy
Our site and product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of who has access to customer data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to minimize risk.
9. International users
We currently sell and ship only within the United States. Our servers and service providers are primarily located in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
